LTSP Books & Gifts

FALL TEXTBOOKS:  As mandated by the Department of Education, you can download the listing of all required and suggested textbooks (pdf) for the Fall 2010 Academic session. Please note a few important pieces of information regarding book purchasing at LTSP Books & Gifts.

STUDENT DISCOUNT:  All students enrolled in a class for the current semester are eligible to receive a 20% discount on textbooks. Textbooks marked “net” are not eligible for the student discount as they have been sold to us at near or equal to retail value.

ABOUT CHARGING TO YOUR LTSP STUDENT ACCOUNT: The following conditions apply to these purchases:

+ You must be currently registered for courses at LTSP.

+ There is a credit limit of $750.

+ All bills must be paid to the Business Office in thirty days.

Students with outstanding balances from the previous semester will not be allowed to make charges at the bookstore.

PRICE MATCHING: We will match prices from Amazon.com under the following conditions:

+ It must be a required textbook for a current course.

+ We cannot match prices on any textbook marked "NET."

+ We will not discount any book lower than 30% off the retail price.

+ We will match the price only if it is a new book with the same ISBN as the one carried in the store.

+ Price matching will include any shipping costs you would incur when buying the book.

+ You MUST provide printed proof that Amazon has the book.

We know that purchasing textbooks can be expensive, and we make every effort to keep your costs low.  Many institutions are no longer able to afford to have a campus bookstore.  We hope that as you consider your textbook purchases you will appreciate the extra service that a "brick and mortar" bookstore can offer.  In addition, don't assume that online services have the best price available.  Often your student discount will be better than what is offered by Amazon or other companies.

LTSP Books & Gifts is located on the lower level of the Wiedemann Center.  The store entrance can be reached by the exterior staircase to the right of the building's main entrance.  The store is also handicapped accessible by using the elevator through the main entrance of the Wiedemann Center.

The bookstore accepts Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and most debit cards.  Students may also place purchases on their LTSP student accounts.  If you have any questions please contact the book store at Bookstore@ltsp.edu or call  215-967-1112, fax 215-967-9990.
