| Presentations by Rev. Richard Stewart |
Association of Theological Schools A presentation to the ATS on Course Delivery systems to enhance the use of technology on the campus and in the classroom. March 16-18, 2001. African American Lutheran History This is a core sample of research done in the history of Lutherans of African Descent, primarily in the United States. The research followed the writing of Roses and Thorns by Richard C. Dickinson and preceded the writing of Black Christians:The Untold Lutheran Story by Jeff G. Johnson. This presentation has served as the foundation for presentation on the History of Black Lutherans, who truly have an untold story. Technology and Marketing In the summer of 2002, the Metropolitan New York Synod requested a workshop on the the use of Technology and Marketing for local congregations. Some of the participants reqested an opportunity to review the core information from this presentation. So we've made it available. Planning This is a core presentation that is used for the Lay Academy of the Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America, and in Pr. Stewart's Church Administration Class. Life in congregations can be quite tiring considering the amount of activities and programs that can place demands on the time of the members and the pastor.
