Guide | Archives | Labyrinth A major component in the Seminarys educational program is the
200,000-volume Krauth Memorial Library, home of one of the finest scholarly
collections of any Lutheran institution in America. Archives of five
of the Seminarys supporting synods are housed on the librarys
shelves. A professional staff is available for assistance and consultation. During the academic year, the library is open weekdays and evenings as well as weekends. Summer hours are weekdays only. The library is a member of PALINET/OCLC, a computer network serving all types of libraries in the U.S. and abroad. The system provides access to ownership and cataloging data for some 53 million titles held by some 36,000 participating institutions worldwide, including the Library of Congress. The librarys integrated computer system, "ECCO," provides access to most of the holdings in the library.
