Christmas
Concert [Added 2/14/06]
Music and Musicians in Philadelphia and surrounding neighborhoods
from Angola, Burma, Germany, Puerto Rico, and Russia, and the
LTSP Seminary Choir presented Christmas songs and carols on
December 17, 2005. The event was a great success and will be
held again on December 16th, 2006.

Church/La Iglesia Luterana del Adviento [Added

Rev. Peter Hartney writes as the Pastor of the Evangelical Lutheran
Church of the Advent in Trenton, New Jersey and as the Mission
Developer of La Iglesia del Adviento, the new Latino ministry
being mid-wifed by the established congregation of Advent with
the support of the New Jersey Synod and the ELCA Division of
Outreach.
Multicultural

shared their experiecnes in Multicultural settings at the Multicultural
Mission Seminar on October 29, 2005. The conference was modeled
in a way that led us to look at the experiential realities of
multicultural ministry instead of merely reviewing unpracticed

Research
Uncovers Hopes, Frustrations of Pastors Serving Multicultural
Neighborhoods [Added 4/13/05]
Jennifer Kang and Professor H.S. Wilson are working together
to research the perspectives of parish pastors working in multicultural
communities and neighborhoods. “I'm impressed with the sense
of hope I'm hearing about from the pastors,” Kang says.
