Grant from Henry Luce Foundation to launch Asian Studies and Research Program at LTSP.

The Henry Luce grant will be used for the following two initiatives at LTSP:

Annual Asian Summer Institute : The institute will bring together Asian and Asian American graduate students, especially doctoral candidates in religious and theological studies for two weeks during summer for mutual interaction and mentoring by renowned Asian and Asian American scholars.

Asian Studies : The LTSP faculty and staff, by strengthening the library resources on Asian studies and drawing on the resources of other educational institutions, such as Temple University, the University of Pennsylvania, Princeton Theological Seminary are planning on offering an Asian and Asian American concentration at the M.Div level as well at the graduate level (STM, Th.D).
