Photo - described below
PHILADELPHIA, PA (June 21, 2005) - Foremost scholar on the life of Dietrich Bonhoeffer Dr. Geffrey B. Kelly, second from right, traced the life of the German martyr today during a Lutherhostel continuing education event for older persons at The Lutheran Theological Seminary at Philadelphia (LTSP). With Dr. Kelly are Lutherhostel event planners Martha Reumann, left, and the Rev. Dr. John H. P. Reumann, LTSP's Ministerium of Pennsylvania Professor Emeritus of New Testament and Greek. Second from left is Lutherhostel Chaplain for 2005, the Rev. Amy Reumann of Milwaukee, WI. Kelly chairs the Department of Religion in both La Salle University's School of Arts and Sciences and its School of Continuing Studies and has taught at the Roman Catholic university in Philadelphia for 32 years. He spoke of Bonhoeffer's pacifist convictions and of Jesus Christ's passion for the "unending worth of the apparently worthless." The seventh annual weeklong Lutherhostel event at LTSP is focusing on the theme, "Lord Give Us Peace: How in the World?"
