Karen Baker FletcherConvocation - Tuesday, December 5, 2006, 11:30 a.m. Benbow Hall, The Brossman Learning Center at LTSP

On Tuesday, December 5, 2006, Dr. Karen Baker-Fletcher, Associate Professor of Theology at Perkins School of Theology and Southern Methodist University, presented a moving and poetic convocation lecture entitled, "Breath of God, Winds of Nature ." Her lecture looked at the relationship between God and Nature from a Black Feminist perspective and explored our responses to natural disasters such as Hurricane Katrina and environmental issues such as global warming.
