Understanding Congregational Capacity
and Building Public Presence

A Congregational Studies Institute for professional leaders in cooperation with Hartford Institute for Religion Research

May 31-June 5, 2001

Rev. Katie Day

Congregational studies has grown as a multi-disciplinary approach to understanding congregations. In this five-day intensive course, participants will be immersed in learning how to use the basic tools for congregational analysis and renewal. A teaching team, led by Professor Katie Day of LTSP and including Carl Dudley (Hartford Institute for Religion Research) will guide participants through contact with local case study congregations and their communities as well as in the classroom. Graduate credit will require a follow up research paper. Enrollment is limited.

For more information on this course, contact Professor Katie Day by phone at 215/248-6345 or by e-mail at kday@ltsp.edu.
