Seniors celebrate!
Many members of the senior class gathered for a dinner celebration April 19 at the Manayunk Brewery and Restaurant in Philadelphia. Commencement is set for 3 p.m., May 19 at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Lansdale, PA. The class gathered for a photo on the restaurant steps. Elaine Bell, administrative assistant, Contextual Education, was among several members of the faculty and staff invited to give remarks at the dinner. Other presenters included Dean J. Paul Rajashekar; faculty members Richard Stewart and Timothy Wengert, and AAL/Lutheran Brotherhood representative Jon Roth. AAL/LB, becoming known as Thrivent Financial Services for Lutherans, sponsored the dinner. Gifts and prizes were awarded.
Senior Rochelle E. Lewis of Sunbury, PA, played a major role in planning the dinner. Class member Nathan D. Pipho of Denver, IA, was the emcee.
