Historian Timothy Wengert is the first American ever to win
this prestigious award named for the author of the Augsburg
Confession (February 2000).

Named Director for New Youth Program
Fresh from a resoundingly successful youth program at Trinity
Lutheran, Lansdale, H. William Bixby brings experience and enthusiasm
to the new Theological Education with Youth program hosted at
the Seminary (January 2000).

Christianity is just one of many faith perspectives in America
today, and outlines the implications of this diversity (December
1999)
Seminary
receives $10,000 technology grant
The award is part of a national initiative funded by the Lilly
Endowment to help seminaries to strengthen their capacity to
teach with technology (November 1999).
Dr.
Randolph Jones installed on Seminary's faculty
November 4 event is kickoff for 20th anniversary of Lutheran
school's Urban Theological Institute.
Dean
Philip D. W. Krey elected president
At an October 27 meeting, the LTSP Board of Trustees announced
the election of the Rev. Dr. Philip D. W. Krey as LTSP's next
