George Keck has considerable experience as a staff person in synods, churchwide agencies, and the Seminary. Currently he is serving LTSP as the Director of Lay Theological Education. In this role, he works with congregations and synods in the development of learners and leaders among the laity. Some current resources for theological education of the laity are:

• Lent 2001—Three different studies, each having five-sessions in a notebook of reproducible Study Guides, Teaching Guides and resources.
• Faith and Leadership Academy—Two models using lectures, prayer and guidance with a mentor.
• Men in Mission—One-day events for men.
• Parish Nursing—One-day event for those interested in the congregation’s role in health and wellness.

He is also working on two pilot projects: On-line Theological Education for Laity and Teaching Congregations.
