The Rev. Glenn D. Miller was called to the seminary in July of 2002 as Director of Development. A member of the seminary's senior administrative staff, Pr. Miller has principle responsibility for working with major donors, particularly in connection with the seminary's campus renewal plans. In addition to his development responsibilities, Pr. Miller is playing a leading role in overseeing the renewal construction, beginning with the construction of the Learning Center and Library Renovations. Prior to joining the staff at LTSP, he served as Senior Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in Reading. While there, Pr. Miller served as a Trustee for the seminary. Prior to his election as a Trustee, he was a member of the President's Council. His Fundraising and Building Development/Renovation experience includes multi million dollar capital campaign and renovation at Trinity Reading, and involvement in capital campaigns for Lutheran Social Services South Region in York, and for the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg. A native of Harrisburg, PA, Pr. Miller earned a bachelor's degree in Church Music from Shenandoah University's Conservatory of Music in 1980 with a concentration in vocal performance. He studied two years at LTSP before transferring to the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg, earning his M.Div. degree in 1986. Prior to serving Trinity Church, Miller served St. Mark Lutheran Church, Hanover, PA, as associate pastor, and then St. Paul Lutheran Church, Spring Grove, PA, both as associate and senior pastor. Pastor. Miller serves as a Trustee for Alvernia College, the Reading Music Foundation, and the Highlands at Wyomissing. He and his wife, Carol, Director of Volunteer Services at the Lutheran Home at Topton, have two children, Jason, 19, and Sarah, 12. Download publication-quality photo The
