Looking Forward

Shelly Satran, a former biology major, decided to change the course of her life during her junior year at the University of North Dakota(UND). Abandoning plans for a career in scientific research, she began to explore the possibility of seminary. With encouragement from her pastor, she became increasingly involved in the Lutheran campus ministry at UND, as a Deacon and worship leader.

Following graduation, Shelly immediately began her Master of Divinity studies at Princeton Theological Seminary. She is currently attending LTSP to fulfill her Lutheran year, a pre –ordination requirement to attend a Lutheran Seminary for a year.

Shelly is looking forward to the year ahead. "I can say my experience so far has only been positive," Shelly said. After graduation, Shelly will seek ordination in the ELCA.
